What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett remain the emotional and comic engine, with their long-running partnership driving the mission.
The late Captain Howard is linked to drug cartels, forcing the protagonists to challenge the official case and clear his name.
The film foregrounds high-speed chases, explosive confrontations, and experimental camera work within a rough-edged blockbuster style.
The return of Mike and Marcus, references to Captain Howard, and callbacks to earlier events make continuity central to the plot.
