What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The house, visitors, family conflict, pregnancy, and escalating communal violence echo biblical figures and creation mythology.
Mother restores and maintains the house while Him pursues inspiration and welcomes chaos that consumes her sanctuary.
The camera closely follows Mother through the mansion as rooms, visitors, and threats transform her domestic refuge into an incomprehensible maze.
A late-night visitor and his wife initiate an incremental invasion that develops into vandalism, cultic behavior, and overwhelming violence.
