What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The television crew is confined to a remote cabin deep in dark woods, far from civilization and communication.
The dead body and subsequent incidents produce accusations, mistrust, and conflict among the crew.
The protagonists work on a reality show designed to test participants' wilderness survival, while their own ordeal becomes increasingly extreme.
The film emphasizes the mysterious woods, unsettling atmosphere, and escalating incidents over constant explicit spectacle.
