What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Dinel, Sile, and Pompiliu leave their provincial town and pursue the stolen lottery ticket through a chain of roadside adventures.
The lottery ticket is both the source of the men's hoped-for fortune and the object they must recover after it is stolen.
Three men in urgent need of money respond to the lost ticket with increasingly desperate, practical, and comic improvisation.
The protagonists and their initial circumstances are rooted in a Romanian provincial town rather than an elite or cosmopolitan environment.
