What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Maximo's identity and livelihood depend on wealthy older women, making privilege, consumption, and social status central comic targets.
After losing his wealth, Maximo moves in with Sara and Hugo and must confront responsibilities he previously avoided.
The plot follows Maximo's attempt to survive after abandonment while learning whether his seducer persona can change.
The central reversal moves Maximo from a prosperous marriage and pampered existence to poverty and shared family housing.
