What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Chulbul Pandey's self-mythologizing swagger, comic timing, catchphrases, and stylized action are built around Salman Khan's screen persona.
The film interweaves crooked-cop action, romantic courtship, family resentment, comedy, songs, and confrontations with a criminal politician.
Chulbul's flamboyant self-presentation, playful dialogue, exaggerated fights, and self-parodic stunts make heroic excess part of the humor.
Chulbul calls himself Robin Hood and bends police procedure while confronting corrupt politician and thug Chedi Singh.
