What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Buck lives among kindergarten collages, lollipops, and childhood routines while struggling to process his mother’s death and adult desire.
Buck’s intrusive attempts to re-enter Chuck’s life and his stalking generate both awkward humor and sustained unease.
Buck’s unrequited feelings for Chuck develop into an obsession that overwhelms ordinary friendship boundaries.
Buck cannot articulate grief, desire, or loneliness directly, instead forcing contact with Chuck and inserting himself into Chuck’s adult world.
