What critics said
Critics found the film an overlong, uneven mixture of broad comedy and serious civic and personal drama, with occasional entertainment buried in contrived turns.
What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Sachin's payment dispute, the municipal corporation's response to the collapsed bridge, and the commissioner's campaign against him all turn bureaucratic dysfunction into comic conflict.
Sachin's swaggering contractor persona collides with Gehna's allegations of abuse and assault, forcing the film's broad humor to coexist with accountability.
Elephants, road rollers, indolent employees, and family chaos sit alongside deaths from a collapsed bridge and criminal allegations involving Gehna.
The plot is rooted in Satara's municipal corporation, local road works, contractors, police, and family networks.
