What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The patients' OCD-related behaviors directly generate misunderstandings, friction, and escalating group exercises in the doctor's waiting room.
Seven patients remain together in a doctor's waiting room while the specialist's delayed arrival prevents the expected individual consultations.
Hoarding, mysophobia, verification rituals, symmetry obsession, echolalia, palilalia, and Tourette-related profanity structure the film's humor.
Federico proposes that the patients share their different compulsions and seek help together rather than waiting passively for the doctor.
