May contain story progression spoilers
Helena’s lifelong isolation and the statement that things are not what they seem make hidden artificial conditions central to the narrative.
Helena meets Álex, the first living human she has encountered apart from her deceased parents, aboard the spaceship.
The plot centers on Helena, Álex, and the oxygen supply inside a single isolated spacecraft, with drama and romance foregrounded over action.
Helena’s entire understanding of existence is shaped by her isolated upbringing, while the arrival of Álex exposes concealed circumstances.
