What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
James Carter's exuberant talkativeness clashes with Lee's disciplined investigative style throughout the partnership.
The investigation spans Hong Kong and the United States and involves cooperation across police and customs institutions.
Lee's fights and stunts are repeatedly contrasted with Carter's verbal bravado and frantic comic responses.
The story develops from a Hong Kong vacation into a counterfeiting conspiracy involving Triad figures and Los Angeles criminals.
