What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The plot follows Nasir Shaikh and his friends as they make a film for Malegaon, directly dramatizing grassroots filmmaking.
Nasir bands together local friends to create a movie for their town rather than relying on established film-industry structures.
The central filmmaking effort depends on Nasir, Shafique, Farogh, Akram, Irfan, and Aleem working together.
Malegaon is not merely a backdrop; the town's local audience and filmmaking culture motivate the group's project.
