What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The title and premise foreground love shaped by 'gustaakhiyan,' or emotionally daring acts against idealized romantic convention.
The plot explicitly frames the central romance against a world of perfect love stories while promising a more flawed emotional experience.
Vikrant Massey's character is credited as Jahaan / Kabir, signaling identity ambiguity as a meaningful narrative element.
The drama-romance classification, 141-minute runtime, and premise centered on non-idealized love support an emotionally expansive romantic register.
