What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Chloé's abdominal pain, suspicions about Paul, and dreamlike sequences destabilize the boundary between objective events and her perception.
Jérémie Renier plays Paul and his twin Louis, turning Chloé's attraction into a conflict between apparently opposed masculine identities.
Chloé's relationship with her therapist becomes sexual, while Paul's obscure past draws her into escalating suspicion and vulnerability.
The film moves from Parisian professional and domestic settings into erotic secrets, bodily anxiety, and unsettling revelations.
