What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Kate becomes the working-class protagonist who takes in the wealthy male amnesiac, reversing the original film's central arrangement.
Spoiled yacht owner Leonardo is displaced into Kate's demanding household and working-class routine after losing his memory.
Kate's three daughters, two jobs, nursing studies, and household responsibilities shape the romantic conflict.
Leonardo wakes without recollection of his identity, while Magda falsely reports his death and leaves him unclaimed at a hospital.
