What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The story follows Ted Bundy through Liz Kendall's relationship with him and the gradual collapse of her belief in his innocence.
Bundy's attractiveness and courtroom confidence repeatedly compete with the accumulating evidence of his crimes.
The film keeps the murders mostly offscreen and locates their horror in legal proceedings, reactions, and the audience's awareness.
Bundy's nationally televised defense and public following make the trial a major arena of performance and fascination.
