What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The plot moves among Pharaonic, Abbasid, and Kingdom-era strands, linking their treatments of power and corruption.
The central conflict focuses on clerics using religion in politics to secure positions and preserve authority.
Corruption and abusive dealings recur across the eras rather than belonging to a single regime.
