What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Daniel ministers to a parish while hiding that he is a juvenile delinquent unable to enter seminary.
The small-town parish is shaped by collective loss and unresolved sorrow.
Daniel uses unorthodox methods in confession, sermons, and parish leadership to address the community’s pain.
Careful framing and lighting alternately render Daniel innocent-looking and menacing.
