What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The eastern hemisphere has been destroyed by a massive solar flare, establishing the film's post apocalyptic world.
Jake travels to Europe to recover the Mona Lisa, which drives the central adventure.
Jake begins as a treasure hunter for hire but learns that the surviving world needs a hero more than a painting.
The action premise, mercenary protagonist, comic framing, and keywords describing the film as hilarious support a knowingly broad pulp register.
