What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Vash the Stampede is defined by his refusal to kill despite being pursued as a legendary gunman.
The desert city, gunslingers, bounty hunters, and science-fiction worldbuilding create a distinctly interstellar western setting.
The plot returns to Vash's intervention in Gasback's bank heist twenty years earlier and its consequences in Macca City.
Gunfights, duels, and bounty-hunter action are presented through heightened anime staging and kinetic movement.
