What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The Rangers fight through stylized martial arts sequences and operate giant Turbo Zords against a fantasy space pirate threat.
Justin Stewart joins the established Ranger team, making youth and courage central to the conflict with Divatox and Maligore.
Divatox's space-pirate persona, theatrical threat, and fantastical setting create the film's overtly campy register.
Victory depends on the Rangers combining their new Turbo powers and coordinating their Zords rather than acting alone.
