What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Anne's successful legal career and carefully ordered family life contrast with her exploitation of Gustav and the devastating consequences that follow.
Anne occupies Gustav's household and stepmother role while initiating an intimate relationship that abuses the asymmetry between them.
The modernist home and affluent family routine provide an immaculate setting for betrayal, coercion, and family collapse.
Anne's concealed relationship with Gustav becomes the central engine of betrayal, responsibility, and irreversible fallout.
