What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The plot revolves around mysterious Geass users, C.C.'s connection to Geass, and competing plans involving the rulers of Zilkhstan.
Zilkhstan is presented as an indomitable kingdom known for its warriors and its knowledge of Geass.
Suzaku is defeated by a mysterious Knightmare Frame, while the infiltration mission is interrupted by attacks involving piloted war machines.
The film is explicitly positioned in its own film canon rather than the television-series timeline, functioning as a consequential what-if continuation.
