What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Ryszard is assigned to infiltrate Solidarity by senior state officials, turning governmental operations into the central source of absurd humor.
The plot is organized around Ryszard Ochodzki’s assignment to penetrate the Solidarity labor movement.
The film’s state-agent premise and Solidarity backdrop place its comedy within Poland’s authoritarian political culture and transition toward post-communism.
Stanisław Tym reprises Ryszard Ochodzki from The Bear for a new mission involving state surveillance and political infiltration.
