What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The film presents an imaginary ghost-town-like city as its real protagonist and organizing environment.
The plot unfolds across a single day in the Dealer's rounds among clients, friends, family, and former associates.
The Dealer's clients include people seeking drugs for radically different emotional and personal reasons, including a final fix.
Fliegauf describes the setting as strongly spiritualist, while the film's alienated world is marked by eerie emotional vacancy.
