What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Nadya and Sasha’s figure skating and hockey backgrounds frame their struggle to build a family and endure an overwhelming personal cost.
The couple’s dream of having a child drives the central conflict, while their daughter becomes a defining emotional presence.
The film combines romantic drama with figure skating, hockey, and music-themed spectacle rather than treating sport as background detail.
The story begins with Nadya and Sasha already married and focuses on the pressures that follow their union rather than courtship.
