What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Ilyas Bazna's actions invite competing interpretations as German espionage, Turkish intelligence work, or revenge-driven betrayal.
Bazna accesses the British embassy safe and passes photographed secret documents to Franz von Papen.
The plot questions whether Bazna is motivated by money or vengeance for his parents' deaths while serving Nazi interests.
The British embassy and German diplomatic mission in wartime Ankara anchor the film's clandestine operations.
