What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
After the failed restaurant meeting, much of the action unfolds inside Katya's loft as the pair continue their interview.
Katya's screen image and Pierre's journalistic authority erode as they expose private secrets to one another.
The interview repeatedly changes direction as Pierre and Katya withhold information, read private material, and challenge each other's motives.
Camcorders, celebrity acting, journalism, and the pair's competitive self-presentation turn emotional contact into another kind of performance.
