What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Fermín, Fontana, Belaúnde, Medina, Carmen, and the Gómez brothers pool resources to recover money lost through a bank scheme.
The 2001 bank freeze and rural economic hardship become the setting for an emotionally restorative caper.
The protagonists repeatedly devise plans to breach Manzi's fortified bunker despite lacking professional criminal expertise.
The corralito and its aftermath directly motivate the characters' distrust of banks and their shared determination to reclaim what was taken.
