What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The Rapid Response Tactical Squad enters a level 5 quarantine zone after communication with the Mars research station fails.
The hardened Marines are defined by heavy firepower, blunt mission dialogue, and direct confrontation with infected creatures.
The central crisis originates in scientific research and spreads through superhumanly altered humans and creatures.
The film includes a notably faithful first-person shooter sequence designed to reproduce the perspective and weapon handling of the game.
