What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Abby creates the persona Donna while Noelle physically presents herself as the radio host Brian wants to meet.
Abby believes Brian will choose Noelle because of her height and conventional beauty, while the film repeatedly questions that assumption.
Abby and Noelle's close friendship is strained when Noelle impersonates Abby and develops feelings for Brian.
Abby's radio program and soothing voice initiate Brian's attraction, while phone and broadcast conversations sustain the deception.
