What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Gabriel seeks to prevent the prophesied birth of Danyael and Valerie's child, whose existence threatens the balance among angels and humans.
Gabriel keeps Izzy alive after her suicide and recruits her to aid his campaign against Danyael.
The monk Thomas's prophecy about the child motivates Gabriel's intervention and the angels' confrontation.
The film transforms angels, fallen angels, Eden, and divine hierarchy into the foundations of an earthly war narrative.
