What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Fane's desired quiet rural life is threatened by envious neighbors whose intentions turn the setting into a source of pressure.
Fane's central wish is to preserve a life with Lilas and his cognitively disabled brother Maurice, known as Mo.
The neighbors' plans are driven by envy toward Fane's countryside life and the space he occupies.
Fane, Lilas, and Mo seek a private household while surrounding neighbors interfere with their attempt at seclusion.
