What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The film explicitly sends up Rambo, Robocop, Terminator 2, and Commando-style spectacle through exaggerated set pieces and sight gags.
Its parody style packs the image with visual jokes, including action references and incongruous comic business.
Topper is recruited by the CIA and President Tug Benson personally joins a rescue mission, turning command structures into comic targets.
The mission concerns rescuing a rescue team that went to rescue an earlier rescue team, creating an intentionally escalating chain of failed missions.
