What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
SID 6.7 moves from virtual reality into a nanomachine android, making artificial intelligence the film's central physical threat.
The film combines virtual reality, telepresence, nanotechnology, serial-killer data, and urban technological paranoia in a mainstream 1990s action format.
Ex-cop Parker Barnes is released from prison and recruited to stop the escaped entity SID 6.7.
SID 6.7 is synthesized from the personalities of more than 150 serial killers, creating an unusually assembled antagonist.
