What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Mick moves from the Australian bush into Los Angeles, where his practical instincts collide with Hollywood, traffic, and city nightlife.
Sue's newspaper investigation leads Mick into a dubious film production operation and its sleazy producer.
Hollywood parties, movie producers, and fascination with colorful exploits frame Mick as both outsider and entertainment attraction.
The opening crocodile encounter and bush setting give way to Los Angeles streets, bars, studios, and traffic.
