What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Paul Crewe's faded football reputation and prison assignment place personal rehabilitation at the center of the team-building story.
The inmates' football game is arranged by Warden Hazen and pits prisoners against sadistic guards within a corrupt prison system.
Crewe, Caretaker, Nate Scarborough, and fellow convicts assemble a team from prison misfits to face the guards.
The film frames the inmate-versus-guard football rivalry through broad humor, physical confrontation, and competitive spectacle.
