What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Koshy Kurien and Ayyappan Nair repeatedly escalate their confrontation through pride, authority, and refusal to yield.
The film sustains its nearly three-hour runtime through forceful exchanges and psychological escalation instead of relying mainly on bullets or pyrotechnics.
An affluent former military figure clashes with an honest police officer whose institutional authority and social position differ sharply from his own.
Attappadi, Kerala traditions, and the police-station community are integral to the film’s atmosphere and conflict.
