What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The twin gynecologists’ fertility clinic and their increasingly grotesque surgical imagery make medicine and anatomy central to the fear.
Elliot and Beverly Mantle exchange partners, roles, and emotional states until their individual identities become unstable.
The upscale gynecology clinic, medical instruments, and unnaturally designed surgical objects create a sterile yet nightmarish atmosphere.
The brothers’ shared romantic arrangements and Beverly’s attachment to Claire turn closeness into manipulation and obsession.
