What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The framing story follows comic-strip artist Brösel making an animated Werner film, while live-action and animated material coexist.
Werner's youthful stories draw on plumbing work, beer, motorcycles, and a rock gang rather than conventional heroic adventure.
Brösel lacks ideas for the Werner film and turns to stories from Werner's youth as the film's internal material.
The plot foregrounds beer, plumbing, motorcycles, and a rock gang within an adult-oriented comic adaptation.
