What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The film treats its fungal zombie outbreak with downbeat humor, absurdity, and an intentionally pulpy genre sensibility.
The buried laboratory threat resurfaces within a storage facility where ordinary employees confront an extraordinary infection.
The central threat is a lethal fungus whose toxicity mutates and zombifies those it infects.
Former bioterrorism agent Robert Quinn returns to action while working with young employees Naomi and Teacake.
