What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Kenai is changed into a bear and must experience the world from the viewpoint of the creatures he once feared.
Kenai receives guidance from the spirit world and travels through a spiritually charged northern landscape toward the Northern Lights.
Kenai and the talkative cub Koda cooperate on a journey despite Kenai's resentment of bears and Koda's dependence on them.
The film uses changes in aspect ratio as part of its movement from Kenai's human viewpoint toward his experience as a bear.
