What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The Once-ler's profit-driven harvesting destroys the truffula forest, while O'Hare monetizes the resulting scarcity of clean air.
Thneed-Ville is enclosed, synthetic, and dependent on commercial products because its natural environment has been erased.
The Once-ler tells Ted how unchecked business ambition transformed a living landscape into a wasteland.
The film translates Dr. Seuss's truffula trees, Thneed-Ville, and fantastical creatures into bright, exaggerated animated environments.
