What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Anna's dishes revive memories in the tavern's regulars while connecting her to her own obscured past.
Anna remembers how to cook but not who she is, and Roula's discovery of the novel reveals her true identity.
The working-class tavern provides the central social space where Anna, Roula, and regulars develop bonds.
Anna's simple dishes are prepared thoughtfully and beautifully, making basic meals feel experiential.
