What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Teddy repeatedly leaps forward to the next year, compressing marriage, family life, and personal change into brief transitions.
The curse forces Teddy to witness the changing state of his marriage and confront what he values in his partnership with Leane.
Teddy cannot inhabit the intervening years and must respond to major life changes without experiencing them normally.
The rapid passage of years turns marriage and personal priorities into a reminder that life cannot be postponed indefinitely.
