What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Naru's ambition to become a warrior is challenged by the male-dominated Comanche setting and her struggle to earn recognition.
The film centers Comanche characters, language, community, and period life rather than treating them as peripheral to the alien hunt.
Naru observes animals, tracks signs, and learns how the Predator hunts across the Great Plains.
Wide views of the Comanche lands frame stealth, pursuit, animal encounters, and combat as parts of one expansive environment.
