What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Ludovic Cruchot is an inspector whose inept attempts to protect Saint-Tropez turn the alien emergency into escalating chaos.
Oil-drinking humanoid aliens and their garbage-can-like voices turn an alien invasion into broad physical and verbal comedy.
The familiar resort community of Saint-Tropez becomes the stage for an implausible extraterrestrial crisis.
The aliens imitate real people, forcing Cruchot and the residents to identify them through their unusual thirst for petroleum products and metallic sounds.
