What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The cargo-ship riot repeatedly foregrounds gruesome killings, dismemberment, and fountains of blood over restrained suspense.
The prison cargo ship becomes an isolated battlefield where criminals, guards, and a released force collide.
The initial prisoner-transfer and escape plot expands into science-fiction horror involving a sinister force aboard the ship.
The film embraces fast pacing, extravagant action, and deliberately over-the-top brutality as its central viewing experience.
