What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The film adapts the Spanish Mortadelo y Filemón comic books through performers, costumes, and broad physical staging.
Mortadelo and Filemón are presented as a pair of inept spies whose missions generate the central comic conflict.
The mission to save the Earth supplies the central objective around which the agents, Professor Bacterio, and Súper are organized.
The comic-book premise and spy pairing support conspicuous physical gags, disguises, and cartoon-style misadventures.
