Muthuveeran begins as a low-caste youngster seeking work and is gradually absorbed into Mumbai’s Tamil underworld.
Muthu travels from rural hardship to Mumbai, works as a paratha maker, and rises through underground gangster networks.
The protagonist’s thorn-forest origins and movement into Mumbai create a strong contrast between rural deprivation and urban gang life.
Muthu is unwillingly drawn into gang activity, with each unexpected event changing his identity and prospects.
